Celebrities have a talent for coming up with original baby names for their offspring. Sure, some are completely crazy, but there are also some totally original names that make us envious and wish we’d come up with them first. However, many celebrity names are just the right amount of unusual, romantic, and not at all overused. 

They don’t all fall on the extremes of being too odd or too trendy. Particularly among our favourites for girls are the names of celebrities. Prepare to adopt any of these names for your own cute little girl. Here is a list of the top unique celebrity names for the girl child.

1. Ziva

Mahendra Singh Dhoni named his daughter “Ziva”. It is originally a Hebrew name. The meaning of the name Ziva, which is a variant of Ziv, is “light, brilliance, radiance, God, brightness”.

2. Vamika

In 2021, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma became parents to a baby girl. They named her Vamika after the Hindu goddess Durga. The name traces its origin from Vamadeva, the preserving part of Lord Shiva. Additionally, it is believed that Goddess Durga is Lord Shiva’s other half.

3. Nysa

Kajol and Ajay Devgan’s daughter’s name is Nysa which in Greek means “a new beginning or goal”.

4. Raha

Raha, who was born on November 6, is the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, one of the most well-known celebrity couples. Bhatt revealed the origin of her name on Instagram. Raha is an auspicious name that, coincidentally (or not!) each meaning carries positive vibes across countless languages. Check it out yourself:

In January 2022, Jeannie Mai stated that she and her husband, Jeezy, gave their child the name Monaco in homage to the French Riviera-based European principality. Adrienne Bailon remarked on an episode of The Real that “three years ago, Jeezy and Jeannie were talking on a bridge in France, talking about what it meant to do life together.” “They made the decision to expand and start a family here. Therefore, they gave their newborn the name of the nation that permanently transformed their life.

8. Eloise

Celeb couple Chris and Katherine named their second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Eloise is a unique name that means warrior in French.

9. Rome

Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel named their girl “Rome” after her grandmother “Romain”.

10.  Amalia

Natalie Portman shares her two children with her husband Benjamin Millepied. She welcomed her second child, a daughter in 2017 and named her Amalia Millipied. Amalia is a female name, derived from the Germanic word Amal which means “work or activity”.
