  • 1 cup Bitter Gourd, Jagged, Teeth Ridges, Short ( de_seeded ) - default
  • 1.5 tsp Lemon, Juice - default
  • Salt - default

Instructions: How to Make Karela Juice

  • Preparation
    Wash one medium-sized bitter gourd thoroughly, peel the rough skin slightly if desired, and remove all seeds and white pith from the center.
  • Blending
    Cut the gourd into small cubes and place them in a blender with 1/2 cup of water.
  • Seasoning
    Add a pinch of Himalayan pink salt or regular salt and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to help neutralize the intense bitterness.
  • Serving
    Blend until smooth, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or muslin cloth into a glass, and consume immediately on an empty stomach for best results.
