What Ingredients do I Need for Palak Paratha?

  • 1 bunch Spinach - default
  • 3 cup water - default
  • 1 tsp Garlic, Small Cloves - default
  • 1 count Chillies, Green-1 - default
  • 2 cup Wheat Flour, Atta - default
  • Salt - default
  • 2 tbsp Safflower Oil - default

Instructions: How to Make Palak Paratha

  • PALAK PUREE RECIPE
    Firstly, in a large vessel add enough water and get to boil and add washed palak leaves in it.
    Utensils:

  • Get the water to boil. Do not over boil as palak spinach will loose its nutritious.
  • Transfer the blanched palak into blender without adding water and add chili then further blend to smooth puree without adding extra water.

  • PALAK ( SPINACH) PARATHA DOUGH RECIPE
    Firstly , in a large bowl take 2 cups of wheat flour , add salt to taste and 2 tsp oil and also add prepared palak puree and garlic

  • Combine well making sure the palak gets mixed well uniformly. Furthermore, add water as required and knead for 5min. Make sure to knead to smooth and soft dough grease the dough with little oil. cover with moist cloth and rest for 30min

  • PALAK PARATHA PREPARATION RECIPE
    Now pinch a medium size ball dough, roll and flatten it , also dust with some wheat flour.
  • Further roll it in a thin circle like roti or paratha, Now on a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a min. Furthermore , when the base is partly cooked , flip the palak paratha, also brush oil and press slightly, flip once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly .

  • Finally, serve Palak Paratha with raita or pickle or chutney .
