What Ingredients do I Need for Paneer Paratha?

  • 1 cup Paneer ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour, Atta ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 handful Onion, Small ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tbsp Chillies, Green - All Varieties ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tbsp Ghee ( fresh ) - default

Instructions: How to Make Paneer Paratha

  • Prepare the Dough
Knead soft dough using whole wheat flour (atta), and water. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes while preparing the filling.
  • Make the Paneer Filling
Crumble paneer and mix it with finely chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, and spices like salt, red chili powder, and dry mango powder (amchoor). Ensure the filling is dry.
  • Stuff and Roll
Take a small ball of dough, flatten it, and place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center. Seal the edges carefully, making sure the filling is completely enclosed. Dust with flour and gently roll into a flat circular disc.
  • Cook the Paratha
Cook the rolled paratha on a preheated tawa (griddle) over medium heat. When light spots appear, flip it, apply oil or ghee generously on both sides, and press lightly until it is cooked through and has golden spots. Serve hot.
