Rewri Recipe

Rewri is a crisp, coin-shaped confection made from high-quality sesame seeds embedded in a hard-crack jaggery or sugar syrup base. This classic winter treat offers a delightful nutty crunch followed by the deep, caramel-like sweetness of unrefined cane sugar. It is traditionally infused with a hint of cardamom or kewra water to provide an aromatic finish that lingers on the palate. Beyond its sweet taste, it is a dense source of minerals, making it a functional snack during colder months.
