What Ingredients do I Need for Boiled Egg Sandwich?

  • 2 piece Egg, Country Hen, Whole, Boiled ( crushed ) - default
  • 2 piece Bread, Whole-Wheat, Commercially Prepared ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tbsp Curd ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tbsp Onion, Small ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Celery, Raw ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 pinch Black salt ( fresh ) - default

Instructions: How to Make Boiled Egg Sandwich

  • Boil the Eggs
    Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then immediately turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let them sit for 10-12 minutes. Once done, transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool quickly. Peel and mash them in a bowl with a fork
  • Make the Filling
    Add the mayonnaise (or curd), mustard (if using), salt, and pepper to the mashed eggs. Mix well until everything is combined and creamy. Stir in any optional ingredients, such as celery or coriander.
  • Assemble the Sandwich
    Spread the egg mixture evenly onto one slice of the bread.
  • Finish and Serve
    Top with the second slice of bread. Cut the sandwich in half (into triangles or rectangles) and serve immediately.
