What Ingredients do I Need for Egg Omelet?

  • 1 tbsp Safflower Oil - default
  • 2 count Egg, Country Hen, Whole, Raw - default
  • 1 count Onion, Small - default
  • 1 count Chillies, Green-1 - default
  • 0.5 tsp Pepper, Black - default
  • 1 tsp Salt - default

Instructions: How to Make Egg Omelet

  • Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions
    Heat 1tbsp oil in skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onions, and green chilies. Add in 1tsp salt and mix well. Saute in low flame for 2 min until onions are translucent. Set aside
    Utensils:

  • Crack eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper and beat well with a fork until lightly frothy.
  • Stir in the sauteed onion mixture from step 1 and beat well for another 10sec.
  • Heat 1tbsp oil in a skillet over low heat as previous in step 1 .Once hot, pour the beaten eggs mixture into the skillet and stir gently with a spatula to evenly distribute.
  • As the egg mixture begins to set on the bottom after 1-1.5 minutes, gently lift the edges with the spatula so the raw egg flows underneath.
  • When the top is still moist but no visible liquid egg remains, flip the omelette.
  • You can now garnish with chopped cilantro. Slide into a plate and serve hot.

Variations and Substitutes

Stir in finely chopped tomatoes or stir-fried veggies like peas and carrots .

Add shredded chicken or cooked potatoes for heartiness .

Top with crumbled paneer or feta cheese before folding.

Play with spices like garam masala, cumin, or red chili flakes .
