What Ingredients do I Need for Paneer Tikka?

  • 1 cup Paneer ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tbsp Curd ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste ( fresh ) - default
  • 10 slice Peppers, Bell, Yellow, Raw ( fresh ) - default
  • 10 slice Onion, Big ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder ( fresh ) - default
  • 1 tsp Mustard Oil ( fresh ) - default

Instructions: How to Make Paneer Tikka

  • Prepare Marinade
    In a large bowl, mix thick yogurt (curd) with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt and pepper. Add a little mustard oil or chickpea flour (besan) for better binding.
  • Marinate Ingredients
    Add large, equal-sized cubes of paneer, chopped onions, and bell peppers (capsicum) to the marinade. Gently toss to ensure everything is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  • Skewer and Prep
    Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto skewers, alternating between the paneer and the vegetables. Preheat your grill, oven (broiler/grill setting), or air fryer to high heat.
  • Cook and Serve
    Cook the skewers, brushing occasionally with a little oil or leftover marinade, for 10-15 minutes (or until the paneer and vegetables are lightly charred and tender). Serve hot, sprinkled with chaat masala and fresh coriander, alongside mint chutney and onion rings.
