What Ingredients do I Need for Rice Flour Chapati?

  • 0.5 cup Rice Flour ( fresh ) - default
  • 0.5 tsp Ghee ( fresh ) - default
  • 200 ml water ( fresh ) - default

Instructions: How to Make Rice Flour Chapati

  • Boil
    Bring water to a rolling boil in a pan with salt and a few drops of oil.
  • Mix
    Turn off the heat, add the rice flour all at once, and stir quickly until it forms a lumpy mass; cover and let it steam for 5 minutes.
  • Knead
    While still warm, grease your hands and knead the dough thoroughly until it is smooth and crack-free.
  • Cook
    Roll into thin discs using dry rice flour for dusting and cook on a hot tawa (griddle) on both sides until it puffs up and stays soft.
